Lisa Barini-García is engaged in the practice of law with a focus on family law matters including child custody litigation, guardianships and adoptions. She also practices family-based immigration law and criminal defense. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and graduate of the Antioch School of Law. She has lectured on family law and immigration topics.

She also served on the Youth Alternative Court for the Fifth Judicial District from 1995-2009 as pro tempore
